Great Marketer Make Sales With Fresh Tricks

When the world is just full of people trying to sell a product, how do you stand out? Advertisers need creative ideas to ensure that their marketing strategy stands out. Consumers have too much on their minds and too many things to do to be bothered with an advertising campaign that doesn’t grab them and give them the message.

How do great advertisers stand out? Here are a few creative ideas that have worked advertising magic:

1. Give the consumer something to do.

People are busy nowadays, but they are also so used to being busy that, faced with downtime, a lot of people just don’t know what to do with themselves. This is a good time to sell your product. Make you ad into a puzzle or a game. Print instructions for commuters and leave them on public transportation. Make it a quick project—one brilliant marketer invented “bus ticket origami”—or a game. Turn your add into a visual puzzle or maze—something that takes about five minutes to solve—and post it in bathroom stalls. You’ve just given your target a task to keep his mind occupied, while your website, logo, or brand name has been occupying his vision for quite an extended period. This is an excellent psychological strategy.

2. Maximize your sales with the power of suggestion (and visual puns).

If you’ve already sold to them, invite them to buy again (and invite first-time buyers too) by printing bags that tell a story about your product. How about the plastic bags that imitate designer purses, or the string handle that makes it look like you are pulling the hair of the girl pictured on the bag? She doesn’t mind. Her shampoo makes her hair that strong.

3. Make them laugh.

Make them laugh. Make them laugh. There is nothing that works as well to disarm. There is nothing that gets the world’s attention like a clever joke. Make them laugh and you’ll have the world on a string.
