Miguel Antonio Venezuela is a pioneer of the airbrush painting technique. He is a mediator of the real world that is visible with the naked eye, and the mystical world that is discernible only by our vivid imaginations. Using his tools and talent, he is able to bring dreams to life; calling them out of our minds and onto paper. He is a translator of beauty who is present for the whole world to see in the heart of downtown Toronto.

CraftTexas 2008 - Call for Texas Artists

Announcing a call to artists for CraftTexas 2008, held May 24 - August 17, 2008 at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Three Award of Merit prizes of $1000 each. Jurors: Kate Bonansinga, Harlan Butt, Jane Sauer. CraftTexas 2008 is open to artists currently residing in Texas. Works in craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal and wood and in found/recycled materials will be accepted. Each artist may submit up to three (3) original works completed within the last two (2) years. Work must be available for a one-year traveling schedule and may not be withdrawn from the exhibition at any time prior to the final closing date. Crated work must fit through a 4 x 8 door and actual work may not exceed 200 pounds in weight. $35.00 entry fee. Prospectus available at www.callforentry.org.
