Miguel Antonio Venezuela is a pioneer of the airbrush painting technique. He is a mediator of the real world that is visible with the naked eye, and the mystical world that is discernible only by our vivid imaginations. Using his tools and talent, he is able to bring dreams to life; calling them out of our minds and onto paper. He is a translator of beauty who is present for the whole world to see in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The Object Factory:Ceramic Art, Design & Industry
Presented by: Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art

This landmark exhibition will provide access to the most innovative ceramic objects from around the world.

Featuring over 150 contemporary ceramic objects from international designers, artists and industry, the exhibition documents the interplay between ceramic artists and industry.

New technology, new materials and innovative use of existing technology and materials have expanded the already diverse use of ceramics as a medium for both the functional object and the object d’art.

Visitors will come away with a greater appreciation of the ceramic medium, discover how technology shapes production and how artists and industry work together to produce both unique objects and objects created for mass production.
